How we review content
No health content goes live on Femio until a qualified clinician has reviewed and approved it — our system refuses to publish anything unreviewed.
Draft, review, approve, publish
An editor writes to our page standard and adds sources; a medical reviewer checks accuracy, source fidelity, and safety framing; only a reviewer can approve, and only approved content can be published.
Qualified reviewers
Reviewers are licensed clinicians appropriate to the topic, such as OB-GYN or family medicine. Their name, credentials, and the last-reviewed date appear on every page they approve.
Every language reviewed
A translated page cannot go live without that language’s own medical-reviewer sign-off. Good translation is never a substitute for medical review in that language.
Enforced, not aspirational
These gates are built into our system: reviewer-only approval, approval before publishing, per-language sign-off, and 12-month re-review dates.
