Editorial policy
Every health claim on Femio is traceable to a reputable source, every page is reviewed by a qualified clinician before it goes live, and every language is medically correct — not merely translated.
Evidence over opinion
Every fact traces to a top-tier source such as WHO, CDC, NHS, or ACOG. We never invent statistics or guideline positions; a claim we cannot source is cut.
At least two sources per page
Each guide cites at least two independent sources — at least one from a leading medical body — stored and shown so you can check them yourself.
Plain language
English guides are written at about a grade 6–8 reading level; other languages target the same clarity, with any jargon defined on first use.
Safety foregrounded
Guides include a specific when-to-see-a-doctor section, and a clear seek-care-now box wherever a symptom can be an emergency.
Independent of advertising
Medical content is editorially independent. Advertisers never influence what we publish, and ads are never targeted using your health data.
Kept current
Every page is re-reviewed at least every 12 months, and sooner whenever guidance changes.
